Yacht, Catamaran & Boat Tours - Full & Half Day Options

Sailing in the Cape Verde Islands is easy, safe and exhilarating, under the consistent, steady Trade Winds. It is possible to charter sailing boats from Santa Maria.

Sailing Boat 'Fidel'

This wonderful sailing experience in Cape Verde can be a whole day trip or a half day. Sailing along the southwest coastline you will be able to totally unwind whilst taking in the spectacular views as you journey to the bay of Murdeira. A delicious lunch, aperitif and soft drinks make this an ideal way to spend the day.

For those of you who cannot resist the call of the water, don't forget to take your swimsuits and snorkelling equipment to make the most of this truly unique experience.

Catamaran Trips

The fantastic catamaran trips both commence at their pier on Santa Maria beach and offer you the choice of a whale watching trip or a snorkelling trip. Both trips include soft drinks and are approximately 4 hours long.

Whale watching 14.00 - 18.00, 40 euros.
Snorkelling 09.00 - 13.00, 40 euros.

Neptunus

This one and a half hour excursion takes you to two different shipwrecks along the south coast of Sal island and gives you a unique opportunity to view the wrecks underwater via the glass panels on the lower deck. The highlight of the trip has to be the visit to 'Christ of the Seas' which is a statue that was erected under the water to protect the local fisherman. For a different experience we also offer a night time trip once a week.

Daytime 10.00, 11.30, 15.00, 30 euros per adult/15 euros per child.
Night time 19.00, 35 euros per adult/20 euros per child.

Deep Sea Fishing

Cape Verde is well known around Europe for it's fishing. The waters around the islands are under fished so they are in abundance from dorado, wahoo and tuna to marlin. The summer months tend to be better for deep sea, big game fishing but you can be sure you'll catch something almost every day of the year. There are several different fishing trips available including:

Captain Toma's Sportboat
This offers either a common fishing trip at approximately 120 euros or a Tuna/Wahoo fishing trip at approximately 180 euros. Both trips are approximately 4 hours long.

08.00 - 12.00 and 12.30 - 16.30.

Native Fishing
This trip runs every day from Santa Maria.
Daily times to be confirmed - 100 euros.

Quad Bikes and Off Road Explorer

Imagine driving across sand dunes down to a beautiful beach, next to a turquoise sea. This is the reality of the 'fun quad'. This two and a half hour trip takes you to some of the best sights on the island whilst you experience the thrill of riding your own quad bike.

Mon - Sat 09.45 and 14.45.
65 euros for 2 people per buggy.
55 euros if 1 person in buggy.

Jet Ski's

These trips offer a choice of either having a guide with you or for the more experienced jet skier taking off alone!

With guide - Daily 30 min 70 euros. 1 hour 120 euros. 2 hours 200 euros.
Without guide - Daily 15 min 35 euros. 30 min 60 euros. 1 hour 100 euros.
